This event is a celebration of Australian and New Zealand achievements in jewellery design. The Competition honours the diverse talent of local artisans by showcasing their original and distinguished talents. And even more importantly, Competition is an investment in the vibrant future of the jewellery industry.
The contestants displayed their capabilities in hand and digital drawing, across 5 categories. It was a challenging field, as judges honoured to see the high-quality entrants, their ideas and execution were inspiring. And Robbie Blair won in the Cad and Render categories with his dazzling diamond and sapphires creation.
In his fantasy ring design, he combined all the charming oriental tales and rare gemstones. Refined lines form harmonious interweaving with gemstones intricately woven inside. White and rose gold, clear diamonds and pink sapphires are perfectly balanced in shade and structure.
We admire the stunning ring and are proud of Robbie's talent. And we are also grateful to everyone who gave their vote in People's Choice Voting. Some part of this victory belongs to you!
