Diamond Price Match Policy

At GS Diamonds, we understand that purchasing an engagement ring is a significant investment. We are committed to offering exceptional value without compromising on quality, craftsmanship, or service. 

If you find a comparable completed ring at a lower price from another reputable Australian retailer, we will review the offer and may choose to match it at our discretion. 

To qualify for a price match, the following conditions must be met: 

  • The price match request must apply to a completed ring, including both the diamond and the ring setting.  
  • GS Diamonds does not price-match loose diamonds separately when the customer is purchasing the setting from GS Diamonds.  
  • The competing offer must be for a comparable completed ring, including a diamond of the same certification, specifications, and quality, together with a comparable setting, metal type, craftsmanship, and design details.  
  • Where the diamond is being matched, it must be the exact same diamond, verified by its GIA or IGI certification number.  
  • The competing offer must be from a reputable diamond and jewellery retailer within Australia with at least one physical brick-and-mortar store. Online-only businesses and marketplace sellers are excluded.  
  • The product must be sold directly by the competing retailer. 
  • The customer must provide satisfactory evidence of the competitor’s current written quotation, including the diamond details, setting details, total ring price, and retailer information.  
  • The quotation provided must be current, valid, and publicly available.  
  • Sale prices, clearance offers, promotional discounts, limited-time campaigns, package deals, loyalty offers, finance-based discounts, or negotiated/private offers cannot be used for a price match request.  
  • Price matching requests can be applied to one completed ring per customer and per transaction.  
  • GS Diamonds reserves the right to decline a price match where the competing ring is not considered genuinely comparable in quality, design, craftsmanship, service inclusions, warranty, aftercare, or overall value.  
  • GS Diamonds holds absolute discretion in deciding whether to match or beat a competitor’s price.Â
