Planning a proposal or buying a ring for yourself? Here are five reliable ways to measure ring size.
There is no “right” amount to spend on an engagement ring. The traditional income threshold limit was once three months’ salary, but these days the average amount to spend on an engagement ring is somewhere between $5,000 and $10,000. You can spend less, or you can spend much more, the choice is entirely up to you and what makes sense for you and your loved one.
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and physically identical to natural diamonds. The only difference is that lab-made diamonds are made in a lab under simulated conditions that mimic that natural environmental conditions that produce diamonds in the earth’s crust. Today, lab grown diamonds account for more than 50% of all new engagement ring sales in Australia and are a cost-effective and ethical way to get the diamond of your dreams for around 60-70% less than the cost of an equivalent natural diamond. Some buyers will be naturally drawn to natural diamond engagement rings, whilst others are attracted to the value and ‘upsize’ proposition of a lab-made diamond ring.
From the day that you order your custom engagement ring, the average turnaround is between 4 and 8 weeks. Seasonality and other supply chain factors can also influence the timeframe to have a ring custom-made, so it’s always best to check with our team when you are designing and ordering your bespoke engagement ring to ensure that we can meet your timeframe.
To find out your partner’s ring size without them knowing, look at their current rings and measure the size of the ring. To measure, take a ruler or measuring tape and measure the inner diameter of the ring. Compare the measurements on our ring size chart to determine your partner’s ring size.
If you don’t get the size right, we offer complementary resizing (up to 2 finger sizes up or down) to suit you or your partner’s correct finger size. Our resizing services generally take 2 to 3 weeks and are available for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Items that are eligible for a return must not be worn, custom-made, or exceed the Claim Limit. Refunds can take up to 5 days to be processed. Yes, we offer free and fully insured delivery to anywhere within Australia and New Zealand, including Perth. For orders $40,000 and under, we deliver via FedEx, and for orders over $40,000, we utilise Brinks. To keep your jewellery pieces safe, we only send to complete addresses (no PO Boxes), someone must sign to receive the order, and all jewellery is tracked and insured until delivered and signed for.
