Diamonds need care to keep them at their best. A clean diamond reflects light better than one that has been dulled by cosmetics, grease or soap. Hand lotions and hair styling products when applied may prevent a diamond from sparkling. These materials may form a layer of filth on the back of the stone if cleaning is not frequent. Do not wear your diamond ring while doing rough work and avoid allowing your jewellery to come into contact with chemicals as this may lead to the discolouration of the setting. It is advisable to take your jewellery for a professional polish and clean every year.

1. Place your diamond in a warm solution of water and detergent
2. Brush with very soft bristles is used, as this will not scratch the ring
3. Allow the ring to swirl around once placed in the solution and place in a strainer to prevent from losing the ring
4. Dry the ring with a gentle cloth
